Deceived by her eyes by Thilini Niruja Nuske is the winner of the WMQ Award at the 2020 Art from the Margins Queensland Outsider Art Awards. Thilini’s works explore themes of identity and belonging and are shaped by her experiences growing up in a transracial family and living with a debilitating chronic illness. Art has saved Thilini’s life and she is driven to help others through an artistic creative path.
