“Interpretation is the revenge of the intellectual upon art”
Susan Sontag

Each week a guest curator of The Cooperative website will publish a piece of art for reflection. Although focused primarily on visual art, we are thinking art in the broadest terms. Many of our curators will show their own art, and on other occasions, the curator will point us to the works of other artists, old and new, known and obscure. Sometimes the art will be accompanied by a brief reflection, and other occasions, a longer exegesis will follow. And when we can, we will resist the temptation to say anything at all.
